Yep, It's summer!

I just got this off the NOAA website:

They failed to mention the humidity...

So today I am thankful for:

  • air conditioned homes, cars and offices
  • snow cone stands
  • iced tea
  • sprinklers
  • swimming pools
  • lakes
  • and...the promise of FALL!!

    It's been that way all week here, heat indexes well into the 100+! I too, keep telling myself fall is coming but when you are sweating walking to the mail box...it is officially summer! YUCK!

    This is the first day in a loooooong time we have not had rain (though it is still overcast). Now the nasty humidity is creeping in...yuk!!! We all need fall!!!
