I'm playin' with Jenny ! {Alphabe-Thursday}
Kiniptchin (cu nip chin)
A fit which just might include layin' on the ground, kickin' legs, and bellerin' until I get my way.
Of course, I am a lady, and I never throw Kiniptchins. I have learned much more subtle ways of getting what I want!
My toddler has these sometimes. They are followed my korner time or time out.
ReplyDeleteI love the final sentence of this post! So cute! New follower from Jenny's place. :)
ReplyDeleteWe used to say someone was having a kiniptchin fit LOL. I haven't thought of that word in years. Thanks for the memory.
ReplyDeleteI wanna throw fits like that...but like you I am a lady. Most of the time, I just lock myself in a closet!
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I've mostly given up even trying to get my way. Kiniptchins just make me tired.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard that work in a long time! I had a couple of toddlers who had those kinds of fits. And sometimes I would really like to throw one, but, alas, I do not....
ReplyDeleteIn my house those are known as Love Fits ... not that I ever have them, but the other Loves sometimes do. Big and small, they all are plagued with these fits ;) . not me, i don't have that Love gene ... nope, I just slam the door and sulk in the bathroom LOL! ;)
ReplyDeleteFun K post.
Happy Easter!
LOL! My kids did that a few times when they were little too.
ReplyDeleteLOL.....I throw these sometimes myself(well in my head anyway) Great fun K post!
ReplyDeleteMy mom uses that word all the time. It is a fun word to describe not so pretty behaviour1
ReplyDeleteOK Amy.
ReplyDeleteYou are just soooo dern cueete!
That was supposed to be a Texas accent!
I am so ready to be mother-in-laws with you...although we have to wait a few years!
Totally funny and wonderful post!
Even though I'm still a bit ticked at you over your April Fools joke!
Yea...let me just kick some Chick-butt!
Hugs and A+
Great word which brings all sorts of images to mind. Particularly Elmer Fudd being thwarted by Buggs once again.
ReplyDeleteBut never a lady.;)
oh i do wish i had the energy to throw one of those!!! terrific K post!
ReplyDeleteYou nut. Well said, for all of us!
ReplyDeletedEE
Hmmmm...I think I had a Kiniptchin just this morning.
ReplyDeleteI'm just sayin'...4 kids.
Been known to happen.
Cute, clever kiniptchin post. I haven't heard that word in forever, though as a teacher of young children I saw a few of those through the years. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Weekend!
I had to laugh when I saw that word. Good choice for a K word.
