GRACE

My sweet Momma went home to the Lord early this morning. She had decided to stop dialysis this coming Monday and we knew the end of her life on earth was near. The Lord decided to take her home while she slept. What a blessing! My mom has suffered so, and I am rejoicing that she is at peace and out of pain and casting her crowns at the feet of our Lord. I will miss her, as I miss my Dad. But how wonderful it is to know my Savior and have faith in his promise. To know that life on this earth is just a blink in what will be our eternal lives.

Today I am thankful for Grace supplied by the Lord to see us through the difficult times.

My heart is wrapped around you right now. I am without my mother and father - sometimes the pain is unbearable although I know I will see them again someday. Today your blog was a blessing to me because you took the time to share such a tender moment in your life.

Amy...
I have been thinking of you, and praying for you...know that you are not alone in this.
So sorry to hear about your sweet mom...Thank the good Lord that you will see her again...so many people do not have that assurance.

Hang in there...
Will continue to pray.

Knowing that your mom is in heaven has to be an inspiration to introduce others to Christ. Such good memories you must have of your friendship and bond with her. I love the name of your blog as I am always drawn to oak trees. May God continue to give strength as you go on your journey through life.
