
Today was the UIL Concert and Sightreading Competition. Stephen has been looking forward to it and Virgil and I were thrilled to be able to see the performance.

I'm always impressed with these students and the band director for the hard work they put into learning their music.

{The trouble with having a son who is a tuba player is that I never get to see his face during a performance!}

Once the competition is over they load up quickly. I guess they were ready to eat lunch in the "big city."
